POSITION: PRODUCTION WORKER

LOCATION: Huntington Beach, CA

EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of experience preferred

HB STAFFING is seeking PRODUCTION WORKERS to join the KARMAN team! The Production Technician works in all areas of Production which includes, working with composite structures, producing complex assemblies, tape wrapping, and compression molding.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Complete work orders/travelers when they are scheduled to be finalized; Utilizing ISO 9001/AS9100 standards
• Understand the production process in the various areas which include tape wrapping, cutting, and compression molding
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments
• Set up, operate, or tend metal molding, casting, or coremaking machines to mold metal parts or products
• Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds, using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels, and fill imperfections with refractory material
• Adjust equipment and workpiece holding fixtures, such as mold frames, tubs, and cutting tables, to ensure proper functioning
• Mix and measure compounds or weigh premixed compounds, and dump them into machine tubs, cavities, or molds
• Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences
• Maintain production or processing equipment
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person)
• Ability to lift 30lbs; Use of upper body mobility, such as bending, use of arms and hands, and standing for the majority of the time; Repetitive motion
