    ROLE PURPOSE:

    To provide higher level recruiting by assisting in the sourcing, evaluating, and placing of qualified talent as needed at the request of HB STAFFING clients.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Talent Agent (Recruiter) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and employees that closely match our company's cultural values.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Full cycle recruiting process for temporary, temporary to hire and contract placements.

    • Recruit for other high-volume positions (e.g., government contracts, conventions, healthcare, etc.)

    • Provide regular status updates to management and assist in developing sourcing and recruiting strategies.

    • Metrics based recruiting with a focus on workforce development in a team environment.

    • Work actively on projects to improve the recruiting and selection processes as well as other projects aimed at improving general HR processes.

    • Receive and create new job orders received from our clients into our internal database and entering all relevant information accurately.

    • Update internal trackers and databases daily.

    • Screen and conduct interviews to qualify candidates.

    • Mentor, train, and provide feedback to employees to ensure a successful placement with our clients.

    • Conduct reference checks, background checks, and education checks for all candidates placed with a client.

    • Access internal database of candidates to call and qualify applicants for employment and fill open job positions.

    • Communicate with clients after submission of candidates to proactively coordinate interviews and gain feedback from both client and candidate.

    • Regularly utilize internal software to include but not limited to, generating reports, sourcing candidates, tracking employees and clients, and inputting client information.

    • Work with our clients to monitor their staffing needs and project future staffing levels.

    • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, internet sites, and connections and other sources.

    • Attracts applicants by posting job positions on various social media sites; including but not limited to our own internal database.

    • Utilize external resources such as LinkedIn, networking events, job fairs, other job boards, and the business community to source specialized and management level candidates.

    • Responsible for reaching metrics as provided by management; including by not limited to reaching phone calls, emails, interviews, submittals, fills and starts for the day/week/month/quarter.

    • Participate in networking events, job fairs, and learning seminars to gain more candidates and to get more business.

    • Participate in daily standup meetings to set team and individual goals.

    • Special projects as directed by Management

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's Preferred in business, human resources, or related field of study

    EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-3 years' experience in metrics-based Recruiting in the Staffing Industry is required

    SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Relevant customer service, human resource experience, and sales experience is a plus

    • The ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and accomplish many detail-oriented tasks simultaneously is required.

    • Must demonstrate a strong customer focus, team orientation, and technical proficiency to include but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Outlook

    • Ability to make sound business decisions and think on their toes in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong interpersonal communications (verbal and written)

    • Excellent follow through skills and time management.

    • Able to work independently and in a team environment.

    • Possess excellent phone sales skills with a strong sense of urgency

    • Multi-tasking, organization, and prioritization skills are essential

    • Ability to communicate on all levels in the organization, i.e., Clerk to President

    • Ability to take “on the spot” feedback from Managers and Peers as a learning experience

    • Ability to work with others in a respectful manner and adhere to the company culture
