The ideal PR Assistant would be an adaptive, creative individual that needs to assist the PR Manager in reaching potential clients through various marketing campaigns
Responsibilities:
Assist the Marketing Manager in developing a marketing strategy with business partners.
Provide administrative support (phone calls, scheduling, weekly reports, drafting releases, proofreading, and etc.)
Follow-up with agents and media, as needed
Mailing list maintenance
Suggest content for internal and external communication
Help update and maintain intranet
Assist with events
Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with business partners.
Assist in leading the resolution of complex stakeholder concerns.
Understand, analyze and act on key performance indicators to continually improve customer experiences.
Define, implement and improve processes and work flow for content development
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in technical computer programs (MS Office Suites: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and etc);
Strong writing skills
Strong customer service skills
Must be well-organized with a keen eye for detail
Able to handle multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency
Exhibit initiative and be able to work independently
Able to organize and prioritize day-to-day activities with longer term projects
Able to synthesize information into concise format
Able to juggle multiple projects under tight and shifting deadlines
Able to take verbal direction quickly and accurately
Creative and energetic personality with a sense of humor
1-2 years of relevant experience
