    Logistics IT Operational Architect 

    Arrow Alliance Industries is currently seeking a Logistics IT Operational Architect interested in joining our team of professionals to provide support to Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Installations and Logistics (I&L), Logistics Information Technology Branch (LPI) Support Services. 

    LPI provides administrative oversight and functional management of USMC Logistics information technology (IT) and data in order to meet the needs of the Marine Corps in Joint, Coalition, and expeditionary environments also known as Information Technology Portfolio Management (IT PfM). 

    JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Work on-site in the National Capital Region 

    • Develop and maintain Logistics operational architecture products 

    • Conduct architectural reviews and update architecture products accordingly 

    • Provide support to the Government assigned Technical Architect and Functional Data Manager 

    • Develop Logistics data management-related plans and status reports that encompass the governance and Logistics Master Data Management (LMDM) efforts 

    • Create databases and/or analysis tools for use on Government computers, hosted on Government websites, Contractor websites, or SharePoint portals 

    • Conduct reviews and analyses of data-related technologies 

    • Assist in the analysis of MCEN network topological diagrams; develop networking diagrams as directed 

    • Draft and support the staffing of documents such as an updated Logistics Data Governance Strategy, Marine Corps Order for Logistics Data Management, Logistics Data Management Process Guide, and Logistics Data Management Performance Plan 

    • Maintain the LMDM plan of action and milestones 

    • Develop the Logistics Business Investment Plan (BIP) in accordance with guidance from the DDCIO (MC). The BIP will include, at a minimum, current and future lifecycles for all applications and systems; funding requirements (i.e., spend plan) per FY; development, modernization and migration/termination efforts and dates; metrics and methods to monitor and measure portfolio performance. For audit relevant systems within the portfolio, provide Information Technology General Control Corrective Action Plans to DDCIO(MC) for endorsement; and provide a Five Year Strategic Plan showing alignment to Marine Corps Information Environment Enterprise (MCIEE) Blueprint and the Network Modernization Plan 

    • Develop the draft Logistics Portfolio Strategy and Roadmap in accordance with guidance from the DON Office of the Chief Management Office. (DON OCMO). The plan will include, at a minimum, strategy alignment, business outcomes and performance metrics, current and future enterprise architecture alignment, DBS investment across the FYDP, and future state roadmap 

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor’s Degree 

    • Experience coordinating with diverse Subject Matter Experts and staffs. 

    • 5 years’ experience conducting analysis in support of capabilities development activities. 

    • 5 years’ experience in developing standards, policy, and governance for the development, storage, and exchange of Logistics systems data. 

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, and Business, Management or related scientific or technical discipline.  

    • IT specific certifications (Sec+, Net+, CISSP, AWS Associate level or specialty certifications)  

    • 5 years of experience in networking, IT projects and programs related to software development, technology insertion, or cloud computing. 

    • 5+ years of experience conducting analysis in support of LogIT capabilities development activities.  

    • Demonstrated experience in the development of IT-specific networking diagrams.  

    • Understanding of logistics portfolio and technology development and maturation. 

    • Firm understanding and experience with Microsoft Visio is desired. 

    **Must be eligible for a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
