The Technician will perform computer builds and manage tickets for technical support and network related problems, as well as diagnose the most effective method to resolve the problems and implement solutions. You will maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, data communications and all peripheral equipment.
Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a qualified Technical Support Specialist for our client in Billings, Montana. This is a part-time on-site temp opportunity for 6 months with potential for an extension.
Compensation: Starting at $23 / Hour
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Skills:
- Perform Computer Builds – Updating/Installing/troubleshooting software and integrations
- Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, and network related problems, regarding the Network, internet, Printers, PC’s and new computer technology
- Documents, tracks, and monitors tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Ability to listen and communicate information to a wide variety of clients and vendors and various skills levels
- Deliver customer support both in person and over the phone in a professional manner
- Learn and apply new technology quickly
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess an associate degree in computer science or 1 to 3 years' experience in a related field
- Knowledge of various computer systems, including LAN and WAN networks
- Some IT experience with desktop support and Active Directory
- Interpersonal skills to work with IT Staff and end-users
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
