As a Therapist at Arrowhead you will work closely with the Director of Operations and staff to provide youth in care with the therapy, opportunity and skills they need to turn their lives around.
Responsibilities:
Manage a case load of 12-14 clients becoming familiar with each case history, strengths and challenges in meeting treatment plan goals
Develop Individual Treatment Plans
Work closely with Director of Operations and Case managers in the coordination of resident planning and progress
Provide direction to treatment staff for services and activities
Facilitate individual, group and family therapy
Qualifications
Desired education is a Master’s Degree in human services from an accredited school and two years full time supervised experience in a social work setting. (Licensure preferred)
Will value diversity and incorporate cultural differences into treatment planning and implementation in order to work effectively in cross-cultural situations.
Will adhere to appropriate professional code of Ethics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Must be willing to become First Aid, CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certified.
Must be physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
