Job Description

 Our Orange County, CA global-leading pharmaceutical advertising client is looking for a Copy Supervisor to lead their growing team! 

The Copy Supervisor is responsible for copy development on assigned brands and working closely with their editor, art, and account partners to ensure that clients are satisfied with the quality of the creative work, the value of services, and responsiveness to their business needs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team as well as creating bold, strategic, persuasive promotional copy for all media channels and you will be the lead writer on print, video, and digital projects. We are looking for someone who can clearly demonstrate to clients an understanding of their products and marketing challenges and are responsive to the strategic and creative needs.

Responsibilities Include:

• Day-to-day creation of copy-related deliverables in all media; able to critically evaluate his/her own work
• Partnering with the creative team to develop campaign materials
• Familiarity with researching, sourcing, and annotating projects
• Maintaining schedules and budgets efficiently to ensure on-time completion of all jobs within budget

Skills Required:   

• 5-7+ years' pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
• BA degree (Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or English preferred)
• Strong interest in science and healthcare, understanding of medical, regulatory and legal review processes and requirements
• Scientific/Medical Education copywriting experience is preferred
