About the Role:

Lee Autism Academy is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to inspire and engage our students in Fort Myers, FL. Join our dynamic team and help foster a love for art while promoting creativity and self-expression in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities: Available for one weekly visit per week.

Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

Facilitate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity.

Assess and evaluate student progress through projects and activities.

Provide individualized support to students to enhance their artistic skills.

Organize and display student artwork for exhibitions and showcases.

Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into cross-curricular activities.

Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment with appropriate materials.

Stay updated on new art techniques and educational trends to enhance teaching methods.

Requirements:

Experience teaching art to diverse student populations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students of all skill levels.

Valid teaching certification or license in Art Education.

Proficient in various art mediums and techniques.

Creative mindset with a passion for teaching and learning.

Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
