    We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Project Controls team as a full-time Senior Scheduler. This position is responsible collaborating with the project team to schedule and build construction projects, developing CPM schedules on construction projects from the proposal stage through preparation and updating of schedules at the construction stage. Providing data management and reporting services to project management and staff to meet project goals, and providing data used in successful bidding and completion of future projects interacting with management and staff to ensure that each project is completed on or ahead of schedule with minimal oversight. Creating initial project control plan and coordinate the input of others to implement and monitor the progress of multiple projects. The ideal candidate would have the following skills and abilities: must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, must be proficient with Primavera P6, knowledge of electrical construction trade, must be proficient with Microsoft Project, ability to work independently and interact professionally with Project Managers, team leaders, and engineering staff, experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) and recovery plan scheduling, and experience analyzing complex schedules.

     


     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
    • EXPERIENCE: 8 years of related experience

    or

    • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
    • EXPERIENCE: 10 years of related experience

     

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assesses impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
    • Creates and maintains project baseline schedules and schedule basis documents complying with contract documents and for approval by project teams.
    • Monitors schedule deviations and variances and assists in developing corrective actions.
    • Prepares and provides schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
    • Produces and manages a resource/cost loaded schedule for the life cycle of a construction project from concept to engineering/design, to procurement and construction.
    • Participates and facilitates project schedule review meetings and attends other project meetings as required.
    • Performs time impact analysis, and tracks changes that affect the schedule.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
