Our mission is to support and promote art education. We facilitate creative and successful school fundraising programs for schools, students and families around the country. Our company has been in operation since 1995 and expanded to a new building in 2017. Each year we help schools raise millions of dollars to support critical art education programs. AtR consistently invests in its business and people to help more schools and more art programs every year. As a Production Leader, you will play a vital role in pursuing this mission by being responsible for a team producing or shipping personalized keepsake products. You will have direct responsibility for timely completion and quality of production. Our ideal candidate will have management and production experience. Your candidacy will leap to the top if you can demonstrate: that you care about your teammates (so much so that you are willing to lean into difficult and candid conversations), that you have no issue rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever work is required, and a passionate drive for continuous improvement. Job Description - Night Production Leader This position is responsible for a leading a team producing or shipping personalized keepsake products. In all work, remember our prime directive during our busy seasons: Ship all orders, every semester, accurately and on time. Accountable for operations which include but are not limited to: Manage workload and people Work with management to set appropriate staffing levels, provide regular performance feedback and conduct annual performance reviews. Manage, train, coach and counsel personnel. Hold daily team meetings. Discipline personnel as necessary up to and including termination recommendation. Maintain inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production. Communicate delays and reason for delays to management - no surprises! Create / maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for work center operations and ensure SOPs are followed by all. Ensure Excellence - oversee quality and timely completion of all jobs. Focus on Continuous Improvement - work to improve the production process; build your own technical and managerial skills; share knowledge and expertise with teammates; develop teammates' skills and encourage growth. Demonstrate Teamwork - work with other work center leaders and share team resources to ensure timely and accurate completion of jobs across all work centers. Show Candor - open, honest and sincere communication with your team, and the team at large (including management - no surprises!). Embody the Golden Rule - treat people the way you want to be treated; focus on solving the issue / conflict, not assigning blame; maintain confidentiality. Set highest example of production, adherence to SOPs and alignment with Art to Remember's core values.
