WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a person who is experienced in all three below:

-QUICKBOOKS ONLINE

-HAVING MULTIPLE CLIENTS AT ONCE

-BUSINESS MANAGEMENT BEYOND BOOKKEEPING LIKE FILING AND PAYING SALES TAX, MANAGING PAYROLL, SETTING UP BUSINESS ENTITIES ETC

We are looking for a FULL TIME account manager to work for art businesses. Must have at least 3 years experience with Quickbooks Online (not just desktop version). This person should have the ability to work onsite in Los Angeles/the surrounding areas, but a large majority of the job will be remote. Perhaps you would go on site to a client's studio, museum or gallery once or twice a week.

Experience working as a bookkeeper or in an accounting position for creatives is a plus.

Good communication skills are a must, we need someone that can respond to emails quickly from colleagues as well as clients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enters / Imports all financial transactions into Quickbooks Online

• Processes payroll

• Pays all bills once approved

• Conducts monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts

• Provides financial statements to the CPA and issues tax related forms for independent contractors in consultation with CPA

• Generates Budgets based on QB reports

• Sets up LLCs, sole proprietorships, FBN/DBA, FEIN, City Business License

• Processes sales tax as well as city business tax

• Maintains accounting filing system

PAY AND BENEFITS:

Pay is commensurate with experience and starts at $35 an hour but we offer $30 an hour for the first month to see if you are the right fit before the pay becomes $35/hr- can be payroll or freelance but an addition to company payroll/health insurance includes a three month review period.

ArtSmart has also started profit sharing among employees (we have under 10 employees) based on quarterly company profits. Employees are eligible to join profit sharing after 6 months on the job. Profit sharing percentage is based on time/role at the company, contribution to the profit and performance.
