TITLE: PRODUCT OWNER WORK LOCATION: PHILADELPHIA, PA DURATION: 12+ MONTHS 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         This Product Owner will lead our efforts to use software and automation to improve operations and customer care supporting the Hospitality program.

·         They will be expected to be intimately familiar with Scrum philosophy, ceremonies, team roles, team self-organization, and metrics.

·         Understanding and embracing both the authority of Agile Product Owners and the servant leadership model for personnel who are not direct team members will be necessary for success.

·         The Product Owner must produce oral and written presentations outlining a product's strategy, future plans, and how success will be measured through KPIs.

·         They must be able to clearly communicate and motivate the team around a unified vision.

·         They will be a key partner for engineering, design, business, and operations teams, working with both internal and external stakeholders.

LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO:

·         Looking for the resource who was working a product owner is moving to a different project within Communication Industry Project overview.

·         They are making a product for the hospitality industry which will help them to trouble shoot there set of boxes.  As in big hotel every room has a set of boxes and they why they have lot of boxes.  In order to troubleshoot any problem they are making a tool which will connect all the set of boxes.

·         This resource will be working with stake holders and software development teams and understands the gaps and then help them to bridge the gap.

·         Resource should have experience with software development team and he would be technical resource in past.

·         He is looking more of a solution architect resource who is a product owner.

·         Cable industry domain experience is a very high plus- Familiarity in cable technologies including video, HSD, Wi-Fi, and IP ABR Video delivery.

·         Data analysis experience and develop KPI on how to measure the product success

·         12 months contract

·         Phone interview, Followed by face to face interview.

EXPERIENCE

·         Qualified candidates should have at least 10 years of experience including strategic vision and road mapping, process definition and documentation, interaction design, and usability testing

·         Experience in a fast paced Agile software development environment working, leading software engineering teams, preferably as a solutions architect.

·         Familiarity in cable technologies including video, HSD, WiFi, and IP ABR Video delivery.

·         Experience writing user stories and organizing a backlog based on transparent priorities.

·         Experience with data analysis, including collection and analysis of KPIs across products.

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

·         Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.

·         Communication Industry back office experience is a plus.
