Duties & Responsibilities

The Test Engineer will spearhead hardware, software, and manufacturing initiatives within Operations. The position is multi-faceted and requires a high-degree of flexibility to deal with multiple responsibilities. Programming, PCB troubleshooting, and an understanding of software configuration are required. Additionally, hand-on bench work for debug and repair of PCBs, strong support for manufacturing activities, and the ability to expand the current test environment to a more stable and portable platform are all required. The Sustaining Engineer will focus on projects that may range widely. Key aspects include:

• Maintaining the software and test environment of multiple product lines.
• Troubleshooting PCBs, instruments, repairs, and maintaining records of those activities.
• Ability to manage complex issues involving test stations that include high & low frequency measurements.
• Ability to operate independently as well as work well with a small team of support personnel.
• Able to capture and analyze critical data such as First Pass Yield / Failure Analysis information and communicate the information effectively.
