We are looking for a Staff Accountant for a growing manufacturing company! This opportunity would begin as a contract role but is a temp to hire situation where the company would be seeking someone whom they will convert to a permanent employee after a probationary period. If you are an experience accounting professional with 2+ years as a GL Staff Accountant and excited to start a new job right away then this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and general ledger analysis
• Assist with monthly close process
• Assist with preparing financial statements
• Process invoices and payments, performing accounts payable/receivable as needed
• Report analysis and findings to management team

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting 2+ years at the Staff Accountant level
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred
• Detail and deadline-oriented
