Overview
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Inventory Specialist to join our team at our facility in Costa Mesa, CA. As a Storeroom Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth operation of our storeroom. This position requires proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jack, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain inventory levels in the storeroom
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Utilize Forklifts and pallet jack to move and store inventory
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Create and update inventory records in the system
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized storeroom environment
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts and palletizers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent
