Overview

We are seeking a Field Surveyor to join our team in New Orleans, LA. As a Field Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data in the field to support various projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and collect data in the field
• Use surveying equipment such as GPS devices and total stations
• Travel to the designated location. The contractor typically won't need to enter the facility, but may occasionally need to go inside to verify that the office is occupied by personnel (without interacting with the staff present).
• Ensure accuracy and precision in data collection
• Fill out a form on a mobile application and take the necessary photos using a personal mobile device.
• Analyze survey data and prepare reports
• Communicate findings to project teams and stakeholders
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in surveying or related field
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Salary info:

$18 - $22 / hr
