WHO WE ARE:

Article Innovations ( https://www.articleinnovations.com ), an e-commerce and data analytics company, is seeking motivated interns in a number of areas for unpaid summer internship opportunities at our San Diego, CA office.

We're looking for interns, regardless of the number of years of experience, who are motivated to work through interesting problems and add some relevant accomplishments to their resume. 

AVAILABLE INTERNSHIPS: DIGITAL MARKETING (SEVERAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE) - as a digital marketing intern, you'll be applying data-driven marketing strategies to build and cultivate a community (social media marketing), establish brand expertise (content marketing), and drive new customers (SEO, SEM, Facebook ads, Google adwords, etc.). 

DEVOPS / IT (SEVERAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE) - as a devops intern, you'll have an opportunity to work on one of a number of projects to help automate our software development and testing process, work with our virtualized server infrastructure, or dabble with our cloud hosting environment. (Note: this is NOT a software development job and studying CS or knowing how to code will not be that useful.) DATA RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS - Studying applied math, statistics, or data science? We're interested in working with you on some interesting economics and business problems. Due to the difficulty of the problems, we're really only interested in grad students pursuing an MS or PhD at this time.

WHO YOU ARE:

The ideal candidate has both a willingness and desire to work in a dynamic environment, and is self-motivated. You're working towards a degree in a marketing, economics, business, computer science, math, engineering, or a related field, and you're ready to get some real world experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be available to work at least 40 hours per week during the summer
• Must be located in San Diego - no remote workers
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of business users and management.
• Ability to work individually and on team projects in an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
• Effective written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
