POSITION SUMMARY:
Corporate Sales Representatives contribute to company sales objectives by assisting customers with purchasing new and recycled turf. This individual will provide world-class customer service, working directly with clients to understand their purchasing and project needs, and matching them with the product that best supports their ultimate vision. The Corporate Sales Representative is expected to seek out new sales opportunities, constantly expanding and developing relationships with homeowners and commercial accounts.
INCOME EXPECTATIONS: $15 HR+ COMMISSION
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greets and interacts with customers.
· Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to new or recycled turf.
· Demonstrates and thoroughly explains product options
· Answers customer’s product questions.
· Assists customers with purchase decisions.
· Collects payment using SignNow.
· Meet sales goals and objectives as assigned by Sales Manager
· Develop and execute a daily action plan
· Follow up on sales activity to ensure customer satisfaction and client relationship development
· Seek avenues to develop new client relationships
· Maintain knowledge about all current products and services. Research local competitors’ products and cost points
· Track and maintain all leads and accounts in CRM staying current on the status
· Follow up on leads, contacts, referrals, and established accounts with frequency
· Self-generate leads and contacts by marketing through social media, craigslist, cold calls, etc.
· Perform outgoing lead generation calls on a regular basis and track through CRM
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent active listening skills.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.
Ability to anticipate customers’ needs.
Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
Ability to operate or to quickly learn the CRMs, SignNow
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of successful lead generation (cold calling, social media, etc)
Proven track record of providing first-rate customer service, focusing on the customer experience
Maintain a positive, upbeat, attitude
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
I. High school diploma or equivalent
II. 2 years in retail sales, or similar position, including processing sales and handling currency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Prior experience with Artificial Turf, Landscape, or flooring sales
II. Fluent in both English and Spanish
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
I. Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
II. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
