    OVERVIEW

    Be a part of developing state-of-the-art life-saving active protection systems and automotive safety systems

    Create new generations of technology in a fast-paced, exciting, small team environment

    Program FPGA-based embedded systems with an emphasis on the Xilinx platform

    Participate in data analysis and algorithm development

    Make design decisions for new products

    Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and scientists

    SKILLS

    Self-starter who is willing to take on a variety of tasks, who can adapt and learn new skills quickly in a dynamic work environment

    Strong experience with full toolchain FPGA design required, from code to simulation to implementation and timing closure

    Demonstrated experience with VHDL or Verilog required

    Experience with Xilinx devices and the Vivado environment preferred

    Experience with C, C++, or similar languages a plus

    Experience programming microcontrollers in a bare-metal or RTOS environment preferred

    Experience with Matlab for data modeling and analysis a plus

    Hands-on in the lab and experience with meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other electronics test equipment a plus.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    BS/MS CS, ECE, or EE, with 3+ years relevant experience in the embedded software/firmware space.
