    OVERVIEW

As part of the Artis team, you will be developing new generations of sensing and active defense technologies in a fast paced and exciting environment.  You will be given immediate responsibility for designing and implementing the integration of complex electrical systems. Typical day to day work is done using Altium and Visio for design, along with analysis tools such as Excel and MATLAB.

As an EE III you will be expected to work with the engineering team to design cables and harnesses by establishing requirements and proceeding to completion with standard reviews and updates. The design process includes the ability to fully document, prototype, and test/qualify the design. You will be involved in the manufacturing and procurement process of our designs. You will be a linchpin in the team that helps ensure that data, signals, and power are all distributed properly and robustly between system components.

Another aspect of the position is test engineering. You will need to outline, diagram, and communicate system cabling, signals, and setups of complex prototypes. At times you will need to assist hands on in the fabrication of cables and equipment. Additional test responsibilities will be in supporting electrical testing at facilities including E3 and environmental testing. Testing occurs at internal Artis facilities, test facilities, and test ranges around the country so some travel is required.
