Job Summary:
Ability to work independently to complete both residential and commercial audio/video service calls with the ability to create in the field solutions. Applicant will also need to be able to work with team members to complete small A/V projects. Requires excellent communication skills and should be able to provide good customer service to both clients and team members. Applicant should understand network systems and be self-motivated, task-driven, with strong problem-solving skills.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Must have 4 years’ experience as a Residential Lead Audio/Video Technician with the ability to do:
Audio Video Installation - Installing basic to complex high-performance audio, video, & whole house automation systems
Commissioning Audio Video Systems - Finishing Setup, Testing, Training
Read and interpret basic audio video rack drawings, blueprints, and line drawings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
Clean driving record and background check
Ability to use hand and power tools
Key Job Responsibilities:
Understanding of audio video control systems and multi-room systems and setup
Advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex audio video systems
Timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned.
Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.
