    88rising Artist Development Intern Overview:
    The Artist Development Intern will assist the A&R, Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Artist Management teams, gaining a broad understanding of how the music industry operates from an Indie Label. This role offers hands-on experience in artist development, album production, distribution to global markets, and music publishing, providing insight into both creative and business sides of the industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    A &R Support

    • Catalogue our internal database of music
    • Conduct research on upcoming artists, songwriters, and producers, local shows, and college-level talent
    • General Studio & Administrative Support such as : Daily music studio maintenance and organization, front desk check in of meetings and sessions

    Marketing & Digital Marketing Support

    • Research weekly top digital marketing trends in music and social media
    • Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns for artists
    • Help monitor online engagement metrics and reporting
    • Support the creation of marketing materials and content calendars

    Artist Management Support

    • Assist day-to-day managers with administrative tasks
    • Schedule meetings, calls, and studio sessions
    • Support on the ground with artist tour and promotional logistics when applicable

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Gain exposure to all aspects of artist development and the music business
    • Understand the full lifecycle of an album from creation to global distribution
    • Develop skills in music research, trend analysis, marketing, and creative relations
    • Experience the operational side of publishing and day-to-day artist management
