ArtPix 3D is a company that is consistently growing and adapting and is looking for a detail-minded Accountant with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. Someone willing to roll up their sleeves and assist with streamlining workflow and work with Controller on solutions to improve efficiency. The primary work focus is on Accounts Payable.and Accounts Receivable (no collections).
Full-time position
Location: Elk Grove Village Onsite
Pay: $25 - $32.21 per hour
Duties shall include but are not limited to:
· Matching, verify, scanning and filing pdf’s post accounts payable invoices and obtaining approvals for payment
· Entering sales tax payments and scanning & filing pdf’s
· Recording sales receipts, discounts, allowances, and chargebacks in a timely manner
· Posting cash entries and deposits
Research vendor statements to assist with accuracy
· Process AP-related journal entries, Accrual, prepaid
· Match checks, ACH, Wire Transfers to vendor invoices daily recording in Quickbooks Online Advanced
· Answer vendor and branch calls and e-mails concerning accounts payable
· Scan and validate invoices and all related documents
· Accounts Payable vendor maintenance
· Entering Customer Invoices and scanning and filing pdf’s
· Monthly Sales Journal Entry
· Reconcile Monthly Sales
· Assisting with the month-end close, reviewing general ledger accounts for reconciliation including Accruals, Prepaids, Bank and Credit Card reconciliations and related journal entries and a few more Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
· Strong knowledge of cash management
· 4-6 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
· 3-4 years Quickbooks Online Advanced experience
· Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and ability to learn new applications
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Excellent data entry skills
· Ability to work independently with a focus on meeting deadlines
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
· Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues to resolve discrepancies
· Must be comfortable working in an expanding business with a high volume of transactions at a quick and accurate rate at month end.
· Strong MS Office skills
· Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
