Our growing company is looking for a hard-working and skilled concrete laborer to help bring our construction plans to life! Under our foreman's direction, you will work alongside a team of other skilled laborers and finishers, and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. You must have previous job-site experience, an OSHA10 card, and a great work ethic and physical stamina. If this sounds like you, apply now! Responsibilities: • Meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements by removing debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean • Build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site and tear down old structures • Comply with all instructions given by the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately • Run hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as required • Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians as needed • Construct and dismantle flatwork and wall forms • Ready building sites for concrete slabs • Place and configure reinforcement in footers, columns, and walls • Assist with the placement and pouring of concrete • Utilize floats, towels, edgers, and jointers to finish surfaces of various sizes • Incorporate preferred elevations, grades, and slants into the concrete finishing process • Cooperate with the team to ensure timely completion of duties Qualifications: • Physical stamina and physical strength are needed • High school diploma or equivalent is required - Associate’s degree, trade certification, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred • Solid mechanical skills are needed, as are good eye-hand coordination and depth perception • OSHA 10 certification is required • Comfortable working in inclement weather, like extreme temperatures, rain, etc. • Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in concrete curing processes and techniques • Physical endurance to work in all weather conditions • High level of accuracy and commitment to delivering quality work • Exceptional communication and team collaboration abilities • Dedication to a strong work ethic • Possession of a valid Driver’s license • OSHA 10 Certification or willingness to obtain it Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
