    MUST LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO OR THE SURROUNDING AREAS

     

    New Auto Insurance Company coming to San Antonio, be the first to work for them. You either must have your P & C License or be willing to get one., Position starting 9/13

    This is a Direct Hire position, Flexible hours between 9am-6pm, some weekends, must be able to attend a two week training class in person in San Antonio, TX, Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM. This position will start on August 16th Job Description

    In this call center role, you are responsible for providing support to customers who choose to purchase insurance through inbound or outbound phone calls. Take the lead to generate new business by contacting potential customers.

    Skills Needed

    • Answer and direct sales and service status calls including calls from insureds

    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding current insurance policies, products and procedures. This includes inbound phone calls, fax, email and mail

    • Sell insurance products to customers by gathering data from customers, analyzing customer needs to generate quotes and ultimately bind the business

    • Research policy options to match best coverage options to customer needs

    • Educate customers regarding coverages and cost so that the customer can select the most appropriate option

    • Develop insurance quotes and work towards closing the sale

    • Qualify customers as buyers of other products/services and refers cross-sell opportunities as required (like leasing options)

    • Educate customers on benefits of self service, paperless, and automated payments

    • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements

    • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, referrals, cold calling, networking and potential client lists

    • Meet new business production and sales goals objectives

    • Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems and other technology

    • Follow through and provide excellent customer service to prospective customers

    • Provide sales information and work with the Marketing team to develop strategies to increase territory sales

    • Continuously update job knowledge and learn about new products and services

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Highly self-motivated

    • Ability to obtain the appropriate insurance licenses

    • Completion of required job training and continued license training

    • Great customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills

    • Detail orientation

    • Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills

    • Ability and motivation to work independently

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Basic knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft office suite

    • Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred

    Education and Experience

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent

    • One year sale experience with a successful track record of closing sales

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain P & C license and state registrations

    • WORK AT HOME REQUIREMENTS

    • Bandwidth must have minimum capability of consistent speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

    • Wireless and Satellite coverage is currently not approved.

    • Must be able to provide workspace at home that is safe, suitable for work, and provide a distraction free environment from background noises that may distract a member or customer

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
