Job Title: Network Engineer

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of network engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong Hands-on experience on Cisco devices and Juniper devices (Cisco ASR, ISR, and Juniper PTX gear)
• Strong Hands-on knowledge/Experience in Switching and Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and ISIS expertise)
• Ability to understand the current topology, develop a migration plan, and implement the configuration to migrate from older devices to new devices.
• Ability to decommission and knowledge of decommissioning sites and gears.
• Ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Good understanding of the Data center management process, remote hands to coordinate racking, stacking, cabling, asset tagging, and remote configuring Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Work with team(s) to implement automation requirements to improve project and site migration efficiency.
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management.
• Perform network configuration changes in accordance with change management processes.
• Understanding of ITSM process (Incident, Change and problem management) and change approval process.
• Ability to create change ticket(s) and follow Standard operating procedure post migration window.
• Ability to work with team(s) and other engineers on after hours Maintenance windows.
• Utilize (ServiceNow, Jira , and/or Remedy) for proper task tracking and in proactively identifying tasks.
• B.A or B.S. in a degree such as Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology or 5 to 7 years related experience.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years in the support of an enterprise network platform including platforms such as Routers, Switches and firewalls.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting network infrastructure platforms such as Cisco Switches, ASR & ISR routers and Juniper PTX devices.
• Network certifications preferred. (CCNA, CCNP JUNOS/JNCP)

Location: Ability to be onsite 2-3 times a week based out of Denver, CO

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 – $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
