    Position Summary: Ascension Content Creator

    Help Us Advance Accessibility with Dignity! At AGM, our Ascension Wheelchair Lifts division is passionate about removing barriers and building accessibility solutions that make a difference. We’re looking for a Content Creator to help craft clear, professional, and impactful content that empowers Ascension Wheelchair Lift users and elevate the brand.

    In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all product-related documentation. By developing manuals, guides, internal materials, and customer-facing content, your work will reflect our commitment to ADA compliance, usability, and dignity in design.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain installation manuals, user guides, and technical instructions for our vertical platform lifts.
    • Develop clear, accessible documentation for installers, contractors, architects, and other industry professionals.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, customer service, production, and marketing teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
    • Design and manage templates and style guides to maintain consistency across all communications.
    • Support content creation for educational materials, case studies, FAQs, blog posts, and marketing materials.
    • Ensure alignment with ADA guidelines and best practices in inclusive design.
    • Manage version control and update content as products evolve.
    • Translate complex technical information into clear, usable documentation for diverse audiences.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Preferred areas of study are in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field.
      • Please note: a High School Diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum level of education that may be accepted and is required of all permanent positions at AGM.
    • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, content development, or documentation for physical products.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or accessibility-related industries is a plus.
    • Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical schematics.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation/publishing tools such as InDesign or Illustrator.
    • Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards preferred.

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Must pass a pre-employment drug and nicotine screening.
    • Must pass a comprehensive background check.
    • U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or status as a U.S. Person (per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) required.
    • Must be available to work on-site; remote work is not available for this position.
