Position Overview
Ascent Hospitality Management is the franchisor of Huddle House, Inc., and Perkins LLC. The Franchise Development team is seeking a Lead Specialist who can contact and qualify incoming leads for our sales team. The ideal candidate will be well organized with excellent communication skills, initiative-taker, success driven and goal oriented. You are the first person to communicate with potential franchisee investors and must be able to assess the quality of the applicant against our current approval guidelines while representing our brands in a professional manner.
Essential Duties
Identify potential new franchise candidates by responding to all inbound leads within 24-48 hours for initial call
During initial call determine whether the lead is a viable match based on a pre-established set of criteria
Knowledgeable on the Ascent Brand offerings and current forms of Franchise Disclosure Document to be able to answer general questions
Data entry of new leads
Maintain accurate contact data and sales statuses in the CRM system (FranConnect)
Assigning leads to appropriate salesperson once pre-qualified
Provide sufficient follow-up via phone and email before moving to “Dead Lead Status”
Submit weekly and monthly lead reports
Qualifications and Skills
1-2 years of sales experience preferred
Experience in Customer Service, telemarketing, or inside phone sales preferred
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Working knowledge of CRM software
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
