Outdoors, music, activities, families, groups, and memories are what Asheville River Cabins is all about. Our next leader will be heavily incentivized to define a vibrant hotel concept, connect guests with the greater community, and ensure this amazing property is the best attraction along the French Broad River. Featuring Park Model Cabins, Airstream Cabins, hot tubs, and a Food Truck, our property sets the stage for a glamping getaway or a corporate retreat. Families, couples, dogs, and locals will come together nightly around a fire pit. This position has a target salary of $84,000 from a base salary of $60,000, quarterly incentives of up to $8,000 annually, and a revenue share of up to $16,000 annually. Year 2, the revenue share has the opportunity to increase for a successful leader. Responsibilities: • Build and leverage local partnerships to implement new events and programs to enhance the guest experience. • Look for additional sales opportunities and create a strategy to pursue events, retreats, and corporate gatherings. • Refine policies and procedures with intentionality towards the guest experience. • Collaborate with all departments to ensure an active revenue and marketing strategy. • Inspire your staff to ensure impeccable cleanliness, upkeep of the physical property, and engaged and energized service for the guests. • Manage the budget to ensure a healthy overall business. • Bring the local community, the Food and Beverage partners in the area, and special events that make Asheville special all onto the property in a consistent fashion throughout the year. Qualifications: Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience 5+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required • Experience managing facility improvements, landscaping, and capital improvements. • Familiarity with revenue management strategies, marketing initiatives, and budget considerations.
