    Project Manager

    Under the general direction of the Executive Director and Designated Program Director, the Project Manager will play a pivotal role in planning, developing, implementing, executing, evaluating, and closing the project and related activities. The manager will make community needs assessments and ensure that project objectives and performance measures are met. The project manager acts as the liaison to the project council. While collaborating with internal AACF projects to increase partnerships, they contribute and leverage other partnerships.

    The ability to multi-task, while managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, a passion for non-profit work, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Assuring a steady completion of the workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Planning and Execution:

    · Develop comprehensive project plans, including goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.

    · Manage daily workflow, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly by developing, maintaining, and utilizing various administrative databases.

    · Coordinate project activities, allocate resources, and ensure projects are executed within scope and on schedule.

    · Provide coordinated pre-service orientation, in-service instruction, and overall supervision of the project.

    · Develop project marketing materials including website, social media, outreach materials, and email communication.

    · Monitor and report on project progress, identify and address issues, and make necessary adjustments.

    · Participate in outreach and other community programs carried out by AACF periodically during the year.

    · Communicate to the Executive Director strengths, successes, and gaps, and make recommendations for improvements to the project.

    1. Stakeholder Collaboration:

    · Communicate and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, stakeholders, vendors, and volunteers to achieve project scope, goals, and deliverables.

    · Maintain strong communication channels to ensure alignment and engagement of all stakeholders.

    · Foster positive relationships with key partners and supporters.

    · Collaborate regularly with AACF’s other programs and provide updates at regular AACF staff meetings.

    · Manage State ongoing communication with the advisory committee, project partners, and community stakeholders.

    1. Resource Management:

    · Identify partnering agencies, enlist collaboration, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure successful project implementation.

    · Select, train, supervise project team members, assign tasks, evaluate, and provide guidance and support as needed.

    · Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report financial status to operations.

    · Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment and office supplies.

    1. Risk Management:

    · Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.

    · Anticipate potential issues and proactively address them to minimize project disruptions.

    · Ensure project management is compliant with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards for funding sources or grantors.

    1. Monitoring and Evaluation:

    · Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success.

    · Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track progress and outcomes.

    · Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business Administration, communications, marketing, or related fields), or at least two years of project management/management or related work experience with supervisory experience.

    · Proven experience in project management, preferably in the non-profit sector.

    · Knowledgeable in health and human services work experiences.

    · Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

    · Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.

    · Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

    · Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

    · Proficiency in Google Chrome OS and MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    · Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

    · Experience providing customer service to the general public

    · Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

    · Flexibility to work at varied times and in multiple environments within diverse situations.
