Licensed Insurance Agent

What We Seek
We're searching for an individual with a NY P&C license and a minimum of 2 years' experience in an independent agency. Your primary role will involve quoting and selling insurance policies across various sectors, including auto, home, umbrella, and boat. A strong background in customer service, coupled with experience in remarketing, renewal reviews, and processing endorsements, will set you apart.
Schedule
We need a candidate available to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. In our Ronkonkoma NY office.
Your Role
Design personalized insurance solutions.
Manage client accounts and handle endorsements.
Issue new and renewal policies / documentation.
Engage with clients through phone and email.
Utilize the Hawksoft Management System for efficient data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
NY Property & Casualty License
2 years experience in an independent agency
Expertise in Auto, Home, Umbrella & Boat insurance
Commercial experience not required but would be compensated
Experience with Hawksoft, PL Rater, MS Outlook, DocuSign
Experience with carriers: Merchants, Travelers, Utica National
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary of $65k-$75k, based on experience
Plus estimated annual commission of $5-$15k
