About the Certified Public Accountant position
We are looking for a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA who will join the team running our company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include preparation, reviewing and analysis of financial reports, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and maintaining general accuracy in our accounting operations.
You should have profound knowledge in auditing, bookkeeping and budgeting areas. An ability to monitor daily operations and come up with recommendations for their optimization is also required. You should have some experience of working in this area, as well as possess a degree in Accounting and a CPA qualification.
Certified Public Accountant responsibilities are:
Managing company's financial records
Reviewing financial documentation to ensure its accuracy
Analyzing and reporting on company's transactions
Monitoring company's bookkeeping activities
Participate in budgeting operations
Analyzing profit margins and preparing revenue forecasts
Managing accounts payable/receivable and overseeing ledger reconciliation
Reviewing and updating accounting policies and procedures
Keeping company's executives and senior managers informed about company's financial status
Working together with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
Keeping company's financial information confidential
Following the updates in accounting regulations in company's niche
Certified Public Accountant requirements are:
3+ years' experience of working on a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant position
Profound knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Good practical experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks or Zoho
Good practical experience with MS Office, particularly with Excel formulas, tables etc
Excellent analytical skills
Responsibility, attention to detail, confidentiality
BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant area, and a CPA certification
