    Aspen Mills is looking to hire one mathematically inclined full time person. Must be strong enough to lift 50-75 lb buckets

    Starting Pay: $13/hr

    Shift: 3AM to 12 PM or until finished

    Requirements:

    Mixer (general)

    -In charge of mixing the dough for Aspen Mills’ primary bread products.

    -Must be able to read and understand production sheets & recipes, and mix dough at requested batch sizes.

    -Must be able to measure and prepare mixtures of micro-ingredients (salt, sugar, yeast, ect.) for use on the next production day.

    -Must understand the look and texture of each dough we make, in order to determine when it’s done mixing.

    -Must have good time management and planning skills, so the day’s dough is mixed in logical order, and at a good pace, to be processed correctly.

    -Must be able to manage up to 5 batches of dough mixing at one time.

    -Must practice FIFO (first in, first out); and allergen separation, when using ingredients.

    -Must be strong enough to move the heavy mixing bowls onto and off the mixing machines.

    -Must refill ingredient buckets when they are empty.

    Mixer (side products)

    -In charge of mixing the dough for Aspen Mills’ side products, including pizza dough, roll dough, quick bread dough, and brownie batter.

    -For pizza, must be able to manage and operate the pizza divider, while also mixing the pizza dough.

    -Must be able to adjust the ice to water ratio in batches of pizza dough, to maintain a consistent cold temperature during different seasons.

    -Must be able to distinguish between the different types of pizza dough we produce, and not get them confused.

    -Must have the physical fitness level necessary to lift pizza dough into the divider by hand.

    -For rolls, must know how to operate and adjust the roll divider.

    -Must communicate with the personnel on the ovens, to ensure there is oven space available when rolls are produced.
