  • Responsibilities

    As a Clinical Supervision Specialist at Aspen Ridge Mental Health, the primary responsibility is to provide excellent training and mentorship to unlicensed clinicians and compassionate, expert care for clients. As a member of our training program, the CSS will work directly with our Training Director in providing individual supervision to clinicians with various degrees of experience. Unlicensed clinicians may include a combination of LPCC, CSW and LSW post-masters residents. Opportunities to provide group supervision and lead didactic spaces may be available.

    Clinical Supervision Specialists will lead essential training and onboarding for team members based on a developmental supervision model. Monitoring trainees performance to ensure clinicians are meeting caseload requirements, conducting performance appraisals and providing direct feedback are essential duties of this role. Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and timely for oneself and one's direct reports.

    Our CSS's also provide excellent, compassionate, expert care for clients. As a Mental Health Therapists you will also provide therapy services for clients with general mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and relational concerns. Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and timely for oneself.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and manage unlicensed clinicians to ensure high quality, compassionate service delivery
    • Reviews supervisee documentation for accuracy, timeliness and completion
    • Provides leadership and individual supervision to unlicensed clinicians to aid in the completion of their training goals and objectives.
    • Provides support for direct and indirect supervisees regarding upholding policies and procedures, troubleshooting challenges and answering questions.
    • Monitors supervisee performance, conduct performance appraisals and provide direct feedback regarding clinician performance.
    • Collaborate with the training team on development and progression of training goals for supervisees.
    • Provide individual, marital, family, and/or group therapy to clients in accordance with weekly caseload requirements (average of 25 clients/week, although may vary depending on supervision responsibilities)
    • Collaborate with various clinicians and providers to aid in client care
    • Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented patient records with a quality of documentation that meets facility and licensing standards

    • Work a minimum of 30 hours per week to maintain full-time status
    • Example Schedule:
      • 15% of time spent providing individual supervision
      • 70% of time spent providing individual, couples and/or family therapy
      • 15% of time dedicated to administrative support including client documentation, supervisee note review, coordination of care

    Qualifications:

    • Licensed in Colorado or eligible for license in Colorado as a Licensed Psychologist

    • Doctorate from APA accredited program
    • Must reside in the state of Colorado
    • Strong computer skills, preference for experience with Google Suite and Simple Practice platforms
