We are seeking hardworking and dependable Asphalt Ground Crew Laborers to join our paving team. This position works directly with the paving crew performing asphalt installation, site preparation, grading, and clean-up on commercial and residential projects.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced crew environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with asphalt paving, raking, shoveling, and lute work

Support the paving crew with site prep, grading, and material handling

Operate small equipment such as plate compactors, rollers, saws, and tampers

Maintain clean and safe job sites

Assist with tear-outs, base prep, and asphalt placement

Follow directions from crew leaders and foreman

Maintain productivity to help crew meet daily production goals

Minimum Requirements

Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly

Ability to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions

Reliable transportation to and from shop

Ability to work early morning start times

Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

Willingness to follow safety procedures

Preferred (Not Required)

Previous asphalt, concrete, or construction experience

Experience with asphalt raking or lute work

Ability to operate skid steer or small construction equipment

Valid driver’s license
