Responsibilities:

Prepare and grade asphalt surfaces for paving projects.

Utilize hand tools and rakes to ensure even distribution of asphalt.

Assist in the operation of paving machines as needed.

Monitor asphalt temperature and consistency for optimal results.

Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in asphalt work or construction is a plus.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.

Safety certification or training is an advantage.
