JOB FUNCTION:

The position is responsible for maintenance of projects, lawn work, and various other duties including

1. Accomplishing miscellaneous yard work.

2. Removing snow in the winter by operating a snowplow and distributing salt.

3. Completing miscellaneous maintenance task

4. Performing various maintenance projects such as painting, updating lighting, and other tasks.

5. Performing other duties as directed.

Required Skills

1. Ability to carry/lift up to 75 lbs.

2. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves heavy manual labor.

3. Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.

4. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces

5. Ability to operate forklift, skid loader, backhoe, zero turn mower, stand-up mover, and snow plow.

6. Ability to read and understand labels and written and verbal directions.

Required Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent, some High School Education acceptable.

2. Must have the ability to work in a detailed and safe manner.

3. Use of certain cleaning chemicals.

4. 3-5 years of grounds and maintenance experience.
