  • Responsibilities

    Aspire Health Alliance is a leader in providing services for children, teens, and families experiencing serious emotional problems, behavioral issues, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse.  We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team!  Our office is located at Marina Bay in Quincy.

    The Accounts Receivable Specialist administers the organizations third party accounts receivable functions.  Produces and maintains accurate and timely claims for services rendered and billable to third party payor sources. 

    • Prepares and processes third party claims for reimbursement
    • Processes payments received from third party payors and makes appropriate transfers and adjustments
    • Reviews and maintains client aged receivables with mutually agreed upon collection levels
    • Demonstrates an understanding of the responsibilities related to the confidentiality of patient records
    • Organizes and prioritizes assigned work, and schedules time to accommodate work demands, turn-around times and deadlines

    Required Experience

     

    • Minimum of one year of previous medical billing experience required
    • Previous experience working with an Electronic Health record strongly preferred
