    HOLLY HUNT is a sales and service organization, as well as designer and maker of high-end interior design furniture, lighting, textiles, leather, and rugs. HOLLY HUNT’S “to the trade” customers are interior designers and architects. 85 to 90 percent of business revenue is generated from residential purchases, while 10 to 15 percent is generated from contract, corporate or hospitality purchases.

     

    HOLLY HUNT is known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made furniture products.

     

    POSITION PROFILE

    Performs the finishing/painting of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for finishing. 

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Finishing of products:

    • Product completion per Production Schedule

    • Meet all critical product characteristics and color matching master sample.

    • Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.

    • Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.

    • Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.

    • Observe all company policies and standard practices.

    • Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.

    Required Skills

    • Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
    • Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
    • Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
    • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency

    Required Experience

    2+ years previous experience of wood finishing techniques such:

    • Staining (oil and water base)
    • Toning
    • Sealing
    • Top coating
    • Sanding and buffing.

    Reading and understanding mixing specifications.

    Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:

    • Spraying guns.
    • Use of spraying booths.
    • Sanders.
    • Spraying guns.

    • Polishing machines.
