    The UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINIC is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team as CLINIC COORDINATOR.  The UMPT Clinic provides services that include physical therapy and wellness to University of Montana students, faculty, and staff and active individuals of all ages in the community.  In addition to physical therapy services, the UMPT Clinic also provides physical therapy and fitness programs for people with physical limitations, disabilities and chronic illnesses through our New Directions Wellness Center. 

     

    Responsibilities of the Clinic Coordinator include:

    • Welcoming, registering, scheduling, and coordinating care for all patients, including referrals, in-person and via phone consultations
    • Maintaining confidential patient files both in paper and electronic medical records
    • Collecting patient payments made at the time of service
    • Supervising student employees and volunteers working in the clinics
    • Participating in insurance verification tasks
    • Managing clinic inventory and ordering of supplies
    • Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all clients, students, and providers

     

    Required Skills

    • Ability to operate personal computers, related word processing, spreadsheets and database software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Effective time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail

     

    Minimum Required Experience

    • High school diploma and two (2) years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    POSITION TITLE:                  PROGRAM COORDINATOR II

    POSITION NUMBER:            064620

    DEPARTMENT:                     Physical Therapy

    WORK SCHEDULE:               Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through

                                              Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Flexible), 12 months/year

    SALARY:                            $17.085/HR. –Current employee’s rate of pay for this position will be determined by the staff compensation plan and will minimally be this posted salary.     PROBATIONARY PERIOD:        Six months minimum
