  • Responsibilities

    Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee owned company, is seeking an R&D Electrical Engineer to support various ongoing programs within the High Power Microwave and Pulsed Power Division. 

     

    The engineer will:

    • Design, develop, and modify devices and systems
    • Plan and conduct assigned technical projects
    • Document the results of assigned projects

     

    The duties will include, but are not limited to technical design, analysis, assembly, integration, and testing of HPM systems, pulsed power systems, power electronics systems, analog electronics, data acquisition devices, and digital control systems.

     

    This is an exciting opportunity to work in a laboratory setting while engaging in research and development in the area of High Power Microwaves. The work will include interacting with scientists, engineers, and technicians to conduct day-to-day testing, analyze test results, perform failure analyses, and write and present test summaries and scientific reports.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with HPM specific engineering disciplines such as high voltage engineering, pulsed power, prime power, power electronics, high power RF, and/or antennas.
    • Experience with HPM related engineering disciplines; analog electronics, digital electronics, PCB design, RF systems, EMI/EMC, software, control systems, system safety, reliability, etc.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
    • 3.2 Minimum GPA
    • Self-motivated and able to work well within research a development team
    • Experience with standard electrical laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and power supplies
    • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
