DIRECT HIRE | ASSEMBLER | Lenexa, KS

A growing industrial equipment manufacturer seeks a skilled Assembler to build complex systems for specialized applications. Work onsite in a clean, modern facility in Lenexa, KS, with a small, collaborative team, assembling equipment that supports multiple industries.

Anticipated Pay/Benefits:

• Pay: $25/hour (flexible DOE)
• Hours: 40/week, 7 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F (some flexibility, occasional OT)
• Full suite of benefits, PTO, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble Specialized Equipment (SKIDs, 150-200 parts) with piping, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and valves per blueprints.
• Gather parts (20% fabricated onsite, 80% purchased)
• Build wooden crates for shipping and operate a propane forklift as needed.
• Collaborate with welders, machinists, and techs to meet production goals.
• Complete checklists and inspection test plans (ITP).

Qualifications:

• Mechanical experience (3-5 years preferred; entry-level considered).
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measures, rulers).
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and standing 8-10 hours in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to certify).
• Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused.
