Job Summary:
As an Assembler II, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and products to ensure high-quality standards and efficient production processes. You will work collaboratively within a team environment, applying your intermediate skills and experience to contribute to the successful assembly of our products. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and products according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure conformity to quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, providing solutions to enhance production efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of assembly tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of production, assembly processes, and inventory as required.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related coursework preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an assembly role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, with a strong understanding of assembly processes.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 - 50 lbs. as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed to meet production demands.
