Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the mechanical assembly of steel components and equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to support assembly tasks
- Follow instructions from lead assemblers and supervisors to complete projects accurately
- Help position, align, and secure parts using bolts, clamps, and other fasteners
- Perform basic material handling and staging of parts for assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
- Support other departments as needed to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn assembly processes
- Experience using basic hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, grinders, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow simple diagrams or instructions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
