A well-established steel manufacturing facility is seeking a mechanically inclined Assembly Helper to support its 1st shift operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and contributing to a team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the mechanical assembly of steel components and equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to support assembly tasks
• Follow instructions from lead assemblers and supervisors to complete projects accurately
• Help position, align, and secure parts using bolts, clamps, and other fasteners
• Perform basic material handling and staging of parts for assembly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
• Support other departments as needed to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn assembly processes
• Experience using basic hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, grinders, etc.)
• Ability to read and follow simple diagrams or instructions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
