    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Perform masking, cleaning, mixing, and other associated prep work for painting operations.

    2. Monitor curing times and ensure safe handling of preheated and finished cured parts.

    3. Perform inspections for adhesion, solvent resistance, thickness, etc….per mil spec and IBC quality checks and input values into ProShop (as required).

    4. Work with basic hand tools and riveting tools to assemble parts (i.e. socket wrench, hand rivet tools, hydraulic riveting tool, air-powered rivet gun, etc.).

    5. Mix sealing compounds and apply to parts as instructed (respirator usage required).

    6. Use ink and stenciling to apply markings per customer specifications.

    7. Help spec out equipment and gear as necessary to support current and future finishing operations at IBC.

    8. Act as IBC truck driver back-up (cross-training) as needed (non-CDL).

    9. Keep work area clean and tidy.

    10. Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

    11. Follow all AS9100, internal quality policies, OSHA safety regulations, and company safety policies.

    Job Requirements:

    1. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

    2. Minimum high school diploma or GED. Training or certification from a technical school or program is a plus.

    3. Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain For-Hire endorsement.

    4. Requires work experience in industrial painting (will not consider automotive painting experience).

    5. Ability to wear a respirator up to 80-95% of working schedule.

    6. Reliable, dependable and on-time to work.

    7. Listens, follows direction and stays on task.

    8. Attentive to detail and takes pride in completing high quality work.

    9. Must have dexterity to handle small parts with care.

    10. Ability to bend, lift, and stand on feet throughout the work shift.

    11. Must have a minimum 2 years in painting experience.

    12. Ability to read and interpret blueprints is desired.

    13. All employment at IBC is conditional upon results from a background check and drug test.
