High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Relevant mechanical assembly experience preferred but not required
Machine Operation experience
Effective communication skills
Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements.
Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)
Visual and Mechanical inspection and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk around consistently thru a full work shift doing repetitive assembly tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform visual inspection of various automotive components for coating integrity, color requirements and damage per SOP instructions.
Perform mechanical assembly of various automotive components using automatic and manual presses, grease guns and other assembly tools and equipment.
Perform final inspection of assembled components using various inspection equipment, gages, etc.
Use computer systems and bar code scanners for lot traceability of components.
Understand production schedule and daily assembly requirements of various product lines of parts.
