Job Summary

7 Metals Manufacturing is seeking a reliable Assembly Technician to install PEM fasteners and rivets on sheet metal components. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality parts that meet customer and engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

Install PEM nuts, studs, and standoffs using press equipment

Install rivets using hand and pneumatic tools

Follow work orders, drawings, and instructions for proper hardware installation

Inspect parts for correct fit, alignment, and thread quality (go/no-go gauges)

Perform first and last piece checks and report any defects

Maintain tools and keep work area organized

Support rework and other assembly tasks as needed

Qualifications

Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred (sheet metal a plus)

Ability to read basic drawings and follow instructions

Comfortable using hand tools and press equipment

Strong attention to detail and quality

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods

Lift up to 25–50 lbs

Repetitive hand motions
