    JOB TITLE

    Assessment Intervention Management, LLC (AIM) is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN to serve as the School Nurse in one of our wonderful partner schools. 

    JOB SUMMARY

    AIM is seeking qualified LVNs to provide high quality nursing care through health screenings, staff education, medical management and state compliance. In conjunction with our supervising RNs it is our hope we can work together to provide creative and innovative solutions in this challenging time in an effort to uphold the health and wellbeing of the students and staff we serve.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • ●   Providing direct nursing care to students, which requires specialized nursing skills.
    • ●   Completing daily clinic log and progress notes.
    • ●      Counseling the student and family/caregivers about nursing and related needs.
    • ●      Participating in in-service programs, supervising, and teaching other school personnel as needed.
    • ●      Understanding and adhering to policies and procedures established by AIM and our partner school(s).
    • ●      Following physician orders, contributing to individualized health plans in conjunction with the Nursing Supervisor.
    • ●      Implementing students' individualized health plan and communicating necessary revisions to the Nursing Supervisor.
    • ●      Observing confidentiality, safeguarding all patient related information.
    • ●      Completing documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.
    • ●      Reporting any patient incidents, variances, or complaints immediately to the Nursing Supervisor and school administration.
    • ●      Demonstrating competency with technical skills, according to established procedures.
    • ●      Reporting all incomplete work assignments to the Nursing Supervisor. 
    • ●      Maintaining professionalism, including clean appearance and punctuality.
    • ●      Demonstrating effective time management skills.
    • ●      Demonstrating sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision making.
    • ●      Calmly responding to emergency situations and notifying the Nursing Supervisor in  the event of an emergency.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • ●      Active CPR certification
    • ●      Valid LVN Texas/Compact license

    One or more years of experience is preferred, but not required.
