DESCRIPTION
The School Psychology will work at an assigned location or a set of cases based on their availability and the needs of schools/districts in the area.
They will be supervised by a Director of Evaluation Support and the Case Manager will assign them cases if needed. Depending on the situation, testing kits and protocols will be provided either by AIM or the school/district.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs) or Reviews of Existing Evaluation Data evaluations (REEDs) of students referred for special education placement
Participates in the development of individual educational plans (IEPs)
Consults with teachers, parents and community agencies concerning intervention strategies for students' learning and behavior difficulties
Provides psychological services to identify students within the scope of the LSSP license
Participates in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal and (ARD) committee meetings to assist with appropriate placement and development of IEP for students according to district procedures
Compiles, maintains, and files all reports, records, and other documents required
Keep track of hours and submit them through on Quickbooks for AIM
Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned by the Director(s) of Evaluation Support or other AIM leaders
