AIM team currently has part-time opportunities available for Physical Therapists in TX to provide services in a K-12 school program. Previous school-based experience is a plus; and candidates must hold a valid PT - Physical Therapy license.

REQUIREMENTS
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
- Appropriate state licensure or ability to obtain state licensure
- Ability to evaluate and treat students, helping them negotiate the school environment, improve school performance and engage with their peers
- Serves as a member of the IEP team for students with physical therapy concerns
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child's educational plan
- Personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for students
- Collaborative minded professional with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work and build strong relationships with parents, teachers and school administrators
- Experience working in schools or with children a plus, but not required
Primary Responsibilities
- Assessment
- Direct instructional services
- 504 or ARD attendance
- Consultation with school staff or other AIM staff members. Qualifications include a graduate degree from a recognized, accredited college or university and certification from the TX Board of Physical Therapists.
